     Anther week down did it go fast for you it sure did for me. We are setting rocks in mt. Green and hauling more dirt off of M earl prop so work good. We alway seem to have something to do.
     How if life in your world? Hope thing are better with comp. just remember it take time to reach perfection and a lot of work so be patient not all of us are as awesome as you :)))) ha that's funny you better have a smile on you face!!!!! My friend just give it your best and work to build others up to your level and don't forget to enjoy life we were made to have joy sometimes it just hard to find the balance. The best of luck to you. I know you can make it work. I miss you but know you are were you need to be. Take a deep breath and enjoy before you know it it will be over.

yup... wnet way to fast!!! haha i cant believe next wek is conference, i feel like yesterday i was looking at jordan singing in the chior! ha  we had a good week, ive defienlty gottena testimony of Prayer, ive noticed that we can be very specififc with our needs.. like with my comp.. i just poor out my heart to know how he and i can get better.. and htis psat week we have gottne along very well actaully.. ha glad you are staying busy as well, have you went swimming very much or done te jet skis!!¡¡? love you dad keep it up!

My querido mother!!! this week was a btter week! me and my comp are getting things moving a little faster!!! and this week we were able to contact alot of people, but not alot allowed us to come in and to teach.. so thats been kind of hard.. but even with the heat and the Drunks.... man yesterday two drunk guys tried to make me and my comp get in their car after we got done eating.. and we said now thanks and i started to walk away and he grabbed my arm very tightly and said fine. you drive. and i pulled my arm away. very quickly and said i dont know how to drive... and he looked at me very seriously and said.. here come i will teach you.. haha we left.... hahaha we said that we would wait at the bottom of the hill and him and his drunk buddy never came in there car. by the time we got to the bottom, so we jsut left. and then sunday night.. we walked in the alley way behind our house, the area that i dont like.. and ive told my comp that i dont like it.. but we went anyways... passed a group of teeanagers and they had a gun. we walked by like we didnt see anything, and as we were walking away, one yelled hey! and we looked back and he held up the gun to show it off.. didnt point it at us.. just showed it off. and ya we kept walking. ANNND all is well. Diana was able to get baptized by the Bishop, on friday! and then sunday she gave me the great opportunity to confirm her! amd it was great she kept thanking me for confirming her a member of the Church of Jesus Christ! haha shes cute, her whole family went to the baptizm and her confirmation. The family didnt come to church Sunday... that made me super sad... but we still have lessons with them on tuesdays ad thursdays! My list so far for the package, is a rag...  i dont know if you remember the rag that Coach Jones has.. or had.. that you get it wet and then stretch it or snap it and its cold... thats my list so far.  ;) and we were able to kill the baby rat. :) 

Wow, prayers are answered, so glad you are safe and alive :) so excited for Diana and hope that her testimony continues to grow, I will look for the rag :) the family will be in our prayers, what is there name and I'll put it in the temple :) feeling good? Comp ok to avoid the alley from now on? Fhe tonight? How is the kid you baptized and has leg problems? Sorry I can't think of his name right now.... 

the family name is Vasquez Mesa, and if you could put Guilberto, asuncion and jesus and Gema in the temple as well. i feel good today we played soccer as a Zone and talked alot witha  kid from weber high.. and Pedro is ok... hes coming to church and all but theyre not going to do the operation anymore.. and said that he hurt it again by himself, so they arent reliebale..

Where were you coming from eating when the drunks approached you? Do you feel safe more than not? Yes I'm concerned but have faith you will be protected, continue to follow the prompting some of the Holy Ghost :) what's plans for conference? Did you heR about elder Scott passing away? Have you heard how mission pres is?
we were leaving a members house from eating but ya we were far away from the house.. i feel safe. but not sure.. if that makes sense.. i do to i have the faith, but Gods going to do his part but we do too and folow the spirit.. ha for conference im going to go with Villegas in his area i think and we are going to watch them in english and al of them i think! i just barely hear that Elder Scott passed

oh and another thing... for some reason ive never thought about marraige so much... my comp talks about his love of his life and how when he gets home hes gonna ask her to marry him... and he asks me all these questions about girls ive dated and so so... and i wont lie... ive gotten a little distracted, and ive told him that ive got a yr to serve the lord,a nd he said but you gotta start planning now.. but ive got faith  that what happens happpens.

my scrip is Alma 7; 15 talks about leaving behind sin... and to me its a huge blessing to give up sin and move on and to see poeple change through Jesus Christ is a huge blessing to me to see the miracle. 

The best part of this week i feel like was a contact.. we contacted aguy ad we were standing outside his fence and he gave us 5 min to talk with him.. and we got all the way up to the first vision and we said it by memory and it was great the spirit that we felt.. that we could create a envirement so the spirit could be there, i can tesify that the first vision is powerful! :)

Jacer went thru a time like that too, just remember there is a plan and there is no sense being concerned with all that right now :) I'm sure it's tough when all he talks about is that, hang in there and remember how fast time is going and try to stay focused on the task at hand, him too ;) it's ok, so long as you refocus :) haha!!! Silly girls....

ya and i told him that he still has 20 months before he goes home and he needs to focus.. but he talks back and we fight.. so i dont say that much about it.. Idk...
Awesome, I love when you share things like that with us, I feel like it paints a very visual picture of what you are doing and I'm sure Jax will love to hear the detail of mission contacts, so great thanks!!! Do you get to return to him and teach him more? Lots of big plans this week besides conf?

the guy that we contacted doesnt live there he lives in another city, but we gave him our number and everything... but never called and hasnt called. no big plans. we might go to see anohter part of our area.. were they eat turtle eggs and iguana its called Morro. and we might go to visist the members. there is a houe of prayer in the area.. so the church isnt to big.. but we{ll go and visit the members! 

Sounds like a very fun, new adventure-hope you get to try new food ;) is it a long taxi ride or walk? Would live to see pic ;) Are you happy?

can't :(.  Have to have faith that in the life after this things like that get all straightened  out ;)

the special kids are doing good they work and sell gum outside of stores.. its kind of sad.. but its what they do. there mom told me that there was a point when the bishop let them try and bless the sacrement.. but they messed up to many times so they dont let them anymore.. umm ive been craving cookie dough.. idk if you could find like a dry pakge of cookie dough and all i have to do is put a egg in it and ya its delicious. or somehting like that. ;)

I can do that :) great that the bishop gave them the opportunity and that they participate in the ordinance, if I remember right, you said they pass the sacrament, I'm sure a very humbling sight!

The other day i was thinking about the Book of Mormon.. and i honeslty was thinking why wouldnt someone want ot accept another book that talks about Jesus Christ and is a tesimony of his divine life.. like why not!!??? 

This week was oh just so grea.. haha the mouse pioson worked! got home one night and there was a huge rat just dead on the floor... thats so thats great! and this week we are looking to have a baptism on friday!! im super excited for Diana! ive taught her alone about 2 times now becasue my comp is just to busy playing his flute or watching his videos on the computer,,, but im good i learn and she is super cool with me she drew me a pic the other day of my house ;) haha she wvery cute and has faith in Jesus. :) Yesterday about 30 min beofre church the consolar of the bishop asked us to talk.. so i talked about covenants and i also blessed the sacrement for the first time in spansih!! i have 10 and a half months and just barely blessed the sacremttn! ha then we taught sunday school! so.. we had the family of 6 show up!! and they are getting super close to getting marrired and they have 2 kids that can get baptized! and they live close to some members that have been helping out so much! the Zone conference was alright... it was very hard for me to understand there concept.. they were basically saying if we teach someone in the street, they are new inv.. but im not goping to count themm.. ha they all just want numbers., i know that numbers are important but they arent numbers they are people. so we need to teach them like they are people not numbers.. ;) haha thanks so much mom!! i apprecuiate it! maybe ill ride the bike when i get back! im super skinhny.. and the air could basiclally jkust go through me.. ;) haha glad that everyone is doing good! im doing better! little by little with my comp.. we are moving.

her bother who is 14 and her sister who is 12 and her come to church.. her mom and dad work on sundays... somtimes.. i think its been about 2 yrs that they havent gone to church. but the kids go, because they havbe a testimony! :) the Zone conf, as just talking.. no fish..... sadly-- and i think i like the food better here.. not sure why but its differnet. in some ways it good!

yup!! ill be able to see everthing! its was regaular.. had to come home a hour early.. but ya nothing else! there is one guy that asks me for money all the time.. hes like hey the mexicans work hard in your country, so give me money guedo! so one day i talked to him.. and i stood up for myself, and was straight wityh him, and now..... we are cool, like hes my mexican buddy! haha saw him tdoay! and ya.. we are cool! ;)

:) so great kids go, what great examples to so many, even here!!! Tell them I admire them and their dedication to the gospel :) do you find that most kids stay in school and graduate from high school or do they have to start working at a young age to help at home? Are your taxis regular ones or the 3 wheeled things? How's the rain been? Shoes do well? Last week you asked for a dog whistle... How come?

alot of them if they are poor poor they start working.. one girl is 12 and she is working.. blows my mind.. ha, here they dont have motos.. or 3 wheeled taxis. how dumb. ;D the rain has been wet.. ;) no actually it hasnt rained very much and whenn it does its in te night time. a member asdked for a dog whitsle.. but now like the whole family is asking for things.. and saying that they can pay for it.. but i really dont want to... hahah have that mind set..

Good you gave him a pamphlet, teach him that's more valuable than money ;) I'm sure the poor are overwhelming and to think of our life's how spoiled we are, are there things you want me to send for neighbors, really want dog whistle? I can put together a package and send next week....

Here we go again my friend how life in world? Thing here are goooood I got 4th place in my race Saturday so I'm happy with that. The first five of us lapped the rest of the field. It was fun. On Sunday me and jax blessed the Sacrament together for his first time in church. That's always a neat opportunity. Enough about me how about you? Are you being patient with the comp? Some times it take awhile to teach so be patient love him and try to understand were he is coming from. I'm sure his life growing up was a little different than yours, you have always worked very hard and not all people are like that. Just try to make the best of it. It's not always easy it always takes work. And I know you can do that keep it up and smile be happy you could be home stuck in the mud with me yelling at you :))))

Father, i saw the video of your Beefy legs.. wow.  right now ive got carne asada piernas.. ha that sgood with jax! did you cry!!??? i did.. our little boy is all growded up ;) i am praying for patience and charity and love.. and ive actaully seen a difference in me.. in my atitude and its all good.. the things that use to bug me, now its just a matter of using the charirty and love to help him get more motivated to work, when we talk.. its normally about how when he gets back hes gonna get married to so and so.. and its been hard to not think bad about him.. wont lie ive slipped a little and have gotten prideful, but the lord is changing both of us. hope things are good!!! people are jealous that my dad is ross Weaver.. i telll some people, and then they just sit in wonder.. like wow... can it really be the son of Superman.. ;) love youdad have a great week!

President! how are you?! hopefully better! this week was a good one!  we didn divisions and i was able to relax a little with Elder Villegas.. we had a good relaxing day and we still had 6 lessons and 3 news! and i learned that i can still work hard but be relazxed about it. and the zone mtg was a little hard for me to understand.. what i got from it was that we should contact and try teaching the person right there and then and tell them about a 5 to 10 min resume and bamb.. they are new inv.. and we could count them as news.. ill be honest i like to teach in the streets, buses, cars.. and so forth. but in my ten month i never counted it as a lesson, becaseu i wanted to actaully enter their hosue get to know them a little bit, give a good lesson without distractions.. and then they would be counted as news.. but to be honest i know that numbers are people.. but the way the Zone Leaders made me feel the other day was like numbers numbers numbers.. and i wont lie i did like how they talked and gave good ideas on how we can give a breif resume..  im gonna try and make things work in my mind.. haha things with my comp are getting better. like you said little by little.. and thats how we are goimng.. ha little by little... but he doesnt seem like hes got the drive.. so  i dont know if hes board of the arrea or hes tired. but im trying to work on getting him more drive. more of the missioanry pase  in his walk. hope you are doing good and your wife!

MOM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! THE PRESIDENT was shot!! haha he was shot.. about 45 min from where im living right now.. but im good i actually didnt find out until tuesday night by a member.. and it happened monday in the after noon.. so ya.. but im good! the work still goes on! this week was still rough with my comp....  this is the first time in my mission that we dont have the missionary pase in our steps.. we are slow.... my comp watches tv... and ive talked about it nicely.. and ive chewed him out.. and ive told the distrtict leader and hes talked with him but ya... still continues to do it. but im ok.. haha but ive had a hard time feeling like a missioanry.. today the Zone Leader told me that im basically alone... but im not and never did think of it like that... i want to help him... and i can still see little changes here and there.. but thern theres times when he jsut goes back to the bad or the normal..  after the Temple rededication i asked him how he liked it.. because it was his first one.. and he told me he didnt.. he didnt like the Hosanna didnt like how President Eyring, and Holland talkked in english and had a translater... he didnt like it.. i jsut feel like everything is so negative.. and its affecting me.. i was so close to contacting a whole bus, but then he said no doont do it. and started telling me all these things why i shouldnt do it..hha

 I loved the temple dedication!! it was great adn good to hear from Erying and Holland and feel like i was in the temple... oh and I met one of Jordans Comps!!!! elder Guil!!! he was supe cool! came up and talked with me and he lives about 45 min away from me! hes married and i think got kids! ha good to see him!!

This week thats coming we are goingto have devivison with the DL hes coming with me here in thearea and friday we are haveing a zone meeting! Also maybe the Zone leaders might want to do splits with me this week to see how they can help... haha stressed.... skinny... and white thats me.. ;)

By now most of you have likely heard the reports that I was shot in a robbery attempt in Juchitan. Many of those reports contain some inaccuracies. I was shot through both calves by a single bullet and was not seriously injured as the bullet did not hit any bones, nerves or arteries. 
After handing the robber the money from my wallet, another patron of the restaurant attempted to restrain the assailant and the gunman fired. I was not shot because I was resisting the robbery attempt as some reports have suggested.
I am recovering well and am confined to home for 10 days or so. We are very appreciative of the outpouring of love and concern from you, your families, church members here in Oaxaca, friends and family at home and missionaries who have completed their service in the Mexico Oaxaca Mission, the Land of Joy and Miracles.
Oaxaca remains a relatively safe place for missionaries as there is violence everywhere. We know the Lord will continue to watch out for and protect you missionaries serving here in Oaxaca as long you follow the rules established for your protection.
Please do not be afraid and press forward in faith.
We are eager to put this incident behind us and continue the work of the Lord in this marvelous mission.

Presidente, well this week was a little hard.. only found 3 news and we are still contacting alot.. but we need to get more practice at it.. so we are going to do at least 2 practices a day.. in the hosue to get better at our contacts so that its not a ruotine.. i hope that everything is good and ok with you!! heard and read about what had happened.. and youve been in my prayers. hope you are healing fastly.. this week has been a little rough with my comp.. but still little by little we are both making the adjustments to make things work.. the most spiritual thing that happened this week was with a new convert, we were talking abou the plan or salvation and it was just so comforting to tell him that the whole plan was possible though Jesus Christ.. and how our loving Heavenly Father gave us a plan to return and live with him. i felt the spirit so srtong.. and i hope that we can follow working hard.. but make the necessary adjustments so that our contacts are more successful. hope you get better soon!

The service project looks crazy big, need the skidsteer ;) what are you making? Moving all the dirt? I'm good, have a stomach bug today, but good, I'm in charge of super Saturday this week, we are putting a lot of wood pumpkin kits together for the craft ;)  dad is feeling better, they are doing lots of rock work this week, so he just went to meet the guy again, and he is getting groceries :) we are good, so blessed to have great kids!!! Seen Jose or Carlos any more to teach?

Wow, that's a lot of service!!! Sorry about Jose and Carlos? So hard when you have something that you treasure and want everyone to have a part of it and they don't realize the great gift you have for them, but keep your chin up, things will change and seeds are planted :) 

Guys are good, jordan dating a cute girl and making tamales a lot, he really misses Mexico he is staying pretty busy with his side work, look for snow side jobs ;) Jace good too, he thinks he wants to buy a dirt bike, :/ Jax is getting the mustang and so Jace might get my car if we can get a truck, we will see.... He is dating a girl from bonneville, Mackenzie Kendall, Austin Kendall cousin, do you know her? Anyways the girls they are both dating really make cute couples.... Jax is doing well, he needs more time for homework haha!!! He played all of soph ball against clearfield, they lost by touchdown, then he started defense Friday night, did well, had some tackles, however none are showing on stats... I'm trying to get them all to get dates and watch dad race a criterium in Ogden this Saturday... :) we will see ;)

Jax is getting the Mustang!!??? haha gonna buy another trcuk!!?? ive hear of her but i dont remember.. the face! thats super crazy! so much going on°! the mouse problem no... i put ht mouse poison out and havent seen one since.. that makes me happy! i feel good! im skinny.. and i think right now.. im just going to accept the fact that im a whte skinny american.. until i get back in a yr, to eat and workout like crazy and try and get bigger.. ;) haha i feel like it is!! ha 

But the hard thing is when i feel like we need to go somewher my comp makes excuses.. and then we start to argue a little and then we dont havbe the spirit to lead and guide us.. and i cant just role over and let him do his routine and visit the same member and people.. hha we need to help people to get baptized...

i asked him that the other day.. we sat down to be serious and i told him how i felt and asked... why are you really here? and he told me all this stuff.. and started to cry, and said that hes got a sickness... and he could die within 2 yrs.. and he has now jsut started the missiona and wanted to be a missioanry, and his brother was. 

But mom... the thing was when he told me he has a sickness and sometimes out of random he doesnt have energy and so we have to walk even slower... i dont know if i should say this but i didnt feel like it was true.. what he was saying.. and he would tell me the name of the sickness..he said it was personal.. so dont know what to do.. ha 

Hmmm kinda a hard situation, if he us sick maybe he needs help, let zone leader know, maybe something not so demanding on his health would be a good fit, ? So hard, sorry, life's lessons not always easy ones, hang in there and continue to keep your pace, the lord knows what's in our hearts and the truth :) so what about the work, who are you teChing this week besides Diana and family? ;)

working hard!!

President, this week was a little rough.. we went looking for news and kept looking, and we will keep looking for news.. but we contacted and prest service and noone let us in.. but we are going to make it happen this week somehow... i can see that things are getting a little better with my comp... he is literally looking at my example... ha he has started to buy the same food i do, wash his clothes the way i do, and hes being a little more receptive to me and what i think.. although the other day i thought and felt we should go to a hosue of a less active and he wanted to go to a members how like he had done the past 3 weeks.. on sunday.. but i told him we need to go see ythis sisster, and he said shes not there i know the area better than you and she wont be there.. but we went and she was there and like things happen... she has some problems happening right now.,.. doesnt feel like she has a testimony anymore of the church.. and so we went and talked with her about her testimony is Jesus Christ and i felt like that really hit home.-.. im glad that we have the spirit to lead and guide us.. but sometimes its hard to follow it.. family is great and im happy and learning! thanks President!

 thanks!! happy labors day! ha my week was alright.. still going alittle rough with my comp.. but little by little... i have noticed.. that he has bought the same food i buy.. he changed his hair gell to the same as mine.. and he is now washing his clothes the sameway as me.-.. haha so i htink little by littlke we are going to get on the right track! ha my body feels the ned for football... im hearing whistles.. and i feel like i need to beat some one up.. ;) no.. ha Calros didnt come to church.. or jose... so its been really hard.. weve been contacting and the other day we contcted for 2 hrs in the sun.. and noone let us in.. and just rejected us.... i think i would rather be rejected by a girl... then.. someone i dont know that doenst want the gospel.. haha This week is the temple reededication of th temple in mexico and we get to go see it at 9 in the morning.. jsut in our chapel. so im excited for that!! im super hot... very stressed... but happy. im excited for the week thats coming.. last week there was a thunderstorm and it was crazy crazy cool!!! i loved it i woke up at about 11 and just sat and watched the lights and the crazy thunder!! ha im glad you guys are all doing good! and i hope everything goes good for you dad for lotaja!!!!!!!!!! love you guys!! Hey, I forgot to tell you in first email, Natalie Hart is leaving for Portugal, in January for her mission, wow, didnt know she was planning on one....and Landon Weaver and Amber are expecting a baby in March, pretty exciting, they were sealed last Saturday in the temple :) So plans for tonight? How is Pedro, did he have surgery yet? love that you followed the prompting to visit that lady on sunday, continue to follow the Holy Ghost and blessings will come... Have you seen the ocean yet?
Holy cow!! thats crazy!!! way to go nat! ha umm we are going to try and put a date with a little girl to get baptized.. her parents are less active and shes9 so shes a inv.. haha but we are hoping to reactivate the whole family.. and Pedro is doing ok.. didnt oporate.. and his leg still hurts him.. but the other day in sacrement mtg.. we were sitting there taking the sacrement and he had to say the pray over again and Pedro asked me why.. and so i exlpained it to him and he had other Qs and i answerede them.. jsut made me think wheni was little asking you and dad Qs abou the sacrement in sacrement mtg.. haha i have seen the beach... omnly from a really far mtn.. ha not up close...

Hey justin! My week was god ha ha my birthday was Tuesday as you know ;) ha ha we haven't done anything yet Sunday I was ordained a priest and after we went and did home bound sacrament and I was able to bless! Thursday I played with the sophomores and we played corner canyon because off Friday we played desert hills on Thursday we lost but on Friday I didn't start but the kid that did wasn't the best so I still played a lot! We won on Friday there's no way to describe high school football ha ha! Love you kiss you be safe Jax

haha we were doing service!! and we burned and cleaned the area of the man... haha we are burning the trash.. but we are in mexicoo.... and who cares.... ;) makes me laugh because when we did a tour once in Cabo, we did a back country tour and could not believe how much garbage there was out in the middle of no where, all along the roads :) So the area you are in are they known for anything spectacular? like the black pottery? had seafood yet? Yuck about mice in bread, so sorry!! members feed you often? when contacts reject you, is it slamming doors or calling names? I am sure its got to be the most difficult part of things right now!!! Hang in there and pray for them, we will too! hahaha ya i think its just natureal... just to see a huge fire.. and they dont even care.. ha the fire got pretty big.. but who cares.. and the members feed us every day for lunch!! and we have to hike some big hills to get to some of the houses.. more its jsut a.. i dont have time-.. one guy was yellong.. no im catholic to the heart and not gonna change! goodbye!!!!!!!!!! Great scripture about temptation, awesome!!! feeling better about your bible skills? how is sunday lessons going at church? be thinking of things for christmas box, I know its a ways off, but I will get stuff going for it...not sure how often mission office will deliver to you being on the coast :) just a little bit better.. the lesons are going good!! i think the ward mission ld is going to start to teach and we will jsut help every now and then.. but who knows... ya im not sure either.. it might take a little longer. ;) how are you mom!!??? everything good witht the family!!? jaces cist!? jordan.. girls!? :) I am doing good, riding my bike when I can, I try and walk every day 3-4 miles and listen to the bofm, I am finishing Mormon, :) Jaces cyst is something called a lipoma, took a half hour to remove, three stiches inside and glued it shut and put steri strips on it, he has not had a headache since, :) they sent some to a lab to be tested and sent the rest with him in a jar, pretty grose, looks like chicken fat... it was a fatty tumor, I think he will be fine and its healing well.... Jordan went on a blind date with a girl named Karli, she is a rm and we like her alot, I think she likes him too, Ill send a picture, she has asked him out twice and I think it could go somewhere if jordan would be more open to it and not push her away just because we like her....he says he is trying to be independant, but you know, sometimes we are actually right about things-haha!!!
